Very quick download, amongst the fastest I seen (7mb's?!) I launched without accepting the update and while I didn't get any freezes the controls weren't detecting. Update is neccessary. After I accepted the update the controls were smooth as a whistle. I only have 2 hours in and it froze only once. I say it may be a hit or miss on severity of "possible freeze" as some claim it "constantly". I also say this is well worth a download and for a free game none of us have nothing to lose. If it works for you - enjoy! Otherwise, uninstall it. I'm thumbing up!
