FRIENDS - SERIES 10 - DISC 1 - EPISODES 1-4









* EPISODE 1: THE ONE AFTER JOEY AND RACHEL KISS



=> ENGLISH:

Monica, Chandler and Phoebe discover that they can eavesdrop

on Ross & Charlie and Joey & Rachel through the walls of the hotel.

Both new couples decide to wait

before proceeding with their relationships,

until the men can talk to each other.

Ross tells Joey on the plane ride back to New York,

but Joey can't quite yet.

Later, Ross walks in on Joey and Rachel kissing.

Meanwhile, Monica combats her poofy hair

by getting corn rows put in,

and Phoebe discovers that Mike has a girlfriend.



=> DUTCH:

Wij pikken de draad op als onze vrienden nog op Barbados zijn.

Rachel zoent met Joey en Ross zoent met Charlie.

De rest van de vrienden zitten in de kamer

tussen die van Rachel en Ross

en aangezien de muren heel dun zijn horen ze alles.

Joey voelt zich ongemakkelijk bij Rachel en wil pas verder gaan

met Rachel als hij met Ross hierover heeft gepraat.

Monica heeft het gehad met haar pluizig haar en gaat naar de kapper.

Chandler is niet echt tevreden met het resultaat.

Mike blijkt thuis nog een vriendin te hebben

en moet het uitmaken om met Phoebe verder te gaan.

Dit is echter niet zo makkelijk.









* EPISODE 2: THE ONE WHERE ROSS IS FINE



=> ENGLISH:

Ross puts on a convincing front and invites Joey and Rachel

to dine on fajitas with him and Charlie.

He quickly gets drunk and embarrasses everyone.

After Rachel and Charlie leave,

Joey spends the night and the two talk in the morning.

Ross tells Joey he'll work on getting used to him and Rachel.

Meanwhile, Frank Jr. visits with his kids

and tries to talk Phoebe into taking one of the triplets.

Also, Chandler and Monica visit some friends of Phoebe's

to learn about adoption.

However, Chandler accidentally tells their son

something he didn't know

- that he's adopted.



=> DUTCH:

Ross ziet Rachel en Joey zoenen

voordat Joey hierover met hem heeft kunnen praten.

Na een zware shock komt Ross bij en kan alleen maar stamelen

dat alles goed met hem is en nodigt Rachel en Joey bij hem uit

voor een gezellig etentje.

Het wordt een zeer ongemakkelijke avond.

Phoebe's zwager komt langs met hun drie kinderen.

Het wordt hem allemaal iets te veel en hij vraagt of Phoebe

een van de drieling wil hebben.

Monica en Chandler gaan op bezoek bij kennissen van Phoebe

die een kind hebben geadopteerd omdat ze wat raad willen hebben.

Maar de grote mond van Chandler

brengt ze natuurlijk weer in de problemen.









* EPISODE 3: THE ONE WITH ROSS'S TAN





=> ENGLISH:

Joey and Rachel's first date goes well,

until they return to their apartment

and discover that everything's awkward.

They decide that they are better off as friends,

and decide not to go further in the relationship.

Monica and Phoebe try to avoid their annoying friend Amanda,

who has returned from living in London with a fake British accent.

Ross gets a spray-on tan, that does not go well.



=> DUTCH:

Een oude buurvrouw van Monica en Phoebe is in de stad

en wil de twee heel graag ontmoeten

maar die hebben daar absoluut geen zin in

omdat het een vervelend mens is.

Rachel en Joey willen verder gaan dan zoenen

maar dat wil niet echt lukken.

Ross is jaloers op de bruine huid van Monica

en die vertelt hem dat het erop gespoten is.

Ross besluit het ook te laten doen,

maar Ross zou Ross niet zijn als er niet iets mis zou gaan.









* EPISODE 4: THE ONE WITH THE CAKE



=> ENGLISH:

It's baby Emma's first birthday and Rachel won't let the party start

until Emma wakes from her nap.

However, everybody has places to be:

Monica and Chandler want to leave for a weekend getaway in Vermont,

Phoebe has a massage client, and Joey has an audition.



=> DUTCH:

Emma wordt 1 jaar en dat moet natuurlijk gevierd wordt.

Maar Monica en Chandler hebben net een weekendje weg gepland.

Ze besluiten te wachten tot de taart is aangesneden

om daarna te vertrekken.

Maar komt de taart eenmaal te voorschijn,

heeft deze niet de vorm van een lief konijntje maar van een fallus.
