Some deep, phat and heavy breaks from Freq.Nasty - just listening to them will make your mouth water. Simultaneously catchy and butt-rattling, these tracks will rattle your speakers and turn your brain to mush (in a good way). “Boomin’ Back Atcha” goes straight into outer space and back with smooth delivery by Phoebe One; “Freq-a-Zoid” throws down some vocoder electro; and “Revolution Inc” works that funky bass. His instrumentals are just as good: “Mindsweeper” has some darkness coursing through it, while “Inner Minds Eye” has a mysterious vocal sample (from Attica Blues) floating beneath it. “I Was Made for Loving You” blends nu-soul and futuristic breaks into a delicious cocktail. Freq’s Geeks & Mutilations is great album altogether. Sharing Widget |
