Forgotten Realms Ebook Collection (Jan 2014)

I've finally sorted through all the mess that was in my Forgotten Realms book folder, and I've cleaned things up considerably. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I've gathered the *WHOLE* collection of Forgotten Realm ebooks.

"So, why is there gaps in some of the series," you ask?

Because some books were printed and released in multiple series. The Harpers had 4 books that were later released as the Sword & Song series. WHY the heck would I want to keep 2 copies of the exact same book around?? IF it looks like there's a missing volume, CHECK THE INCLUDED BOOK LISTING and see if what you're looking for was released in a different series. Chances are, unless it's one of the books listed above it's in there.

"Why are some books missing that I usually see in Forgotten Realm collections?"

Because people often toss books into the Forgotten Realms even when they don't belong. R. A. Salvatore wrote a ton of books for the Forgotten Realms, and he's a popular writer. However, not ALL of his works are set in THIS fantasy world. The Demon War is set in the world of Corona, principally in the kingdoms of Honce-the-Bear and Behren, and amongst the nomadic To-gai-ru. That's NOT The Forgotten Realms.

I've removed series which really didn't belong in a Forgotten Realms collection. If R. A. Salvatore wrote a new Tarzan novel, should IT go in here as well? I think not. ;)

"Why are there so many formats?"

Because I've collected for years. Pick what works best for your particular device and enjoy.

"Why do some series have MORE formats than others?"

Because of how I collected them. Older books came out in LIT, RB, PRC, PDB, and all sorts of formats. If I had a chance, I collected them. Newer books are generally released in MOBI and EPUB format. You'll be hard pressed to find newer titles in LIT format, unless you convert them yourself -- and I don't. Thus older titles tend to have more formats, and would be more readable of a wider range of devices; before the industry settled on any particular presentation.
