About This Game
Forge Quest is a dungeon crawling rpg set in a voxel world. Explore the land full of chickens on a light hearted quest to become a hero. Delve deep into the randomly generated dungeons to battle monsters, find treasure and craft your equipment. Invite your friends to join your world and help you in your adventure.
Long after great wars ravaged the land of Shmoop, a balance has been reached as both sides agreed to regulate all hero and villain related activities. This system flourishes as it creates the economic stability the land needed, and from it the great bureaucracy rose to rule over the land.
After many years from the system's inception, you step onto the scene. A strapping young adventurer who, after being dropped off by your parents, set off to obtain your Hero license from the kingdom. Although eager to claim your title, your path is full of danger as you must first prove yourself in the dungeons below. You also soon learn that not everyone plays by the rules and what it means to become a hero is much more then just a signed paper.

Changelog
Major Additions
Cloud storage has been added. Steam stores a copy of your save files, this allows you to automatically syncs characters between computers and in case of the local files getting deleted.
NAT Punchthrough has been added. This allows a game host to avoid having to configure their router port when someone connects in any way other then direct IP.
Conent
New weapon, Spellbook, does only 50% damage, but adds +50% to all ability damage.
Demon bow now has a charge attack. Fires three more powerful projectiles.
Demon sword now has a charge attack. Fires a wave of demonic energy that explodes in front of you.
Fireball Staff now has a faster main attack, plus a charge attack. Charge attack is big fireball with much bigger splash area than before.
New merchant that shows up in the desert overworld. He gives you a quest to kill a demon, if completed he gives you a demon sword. This is the first place you can see the sword in the first difficulty. (Note: He won't show up unless you rebuild the world or start a new world)
New model and animation for overworld portals.
Mana/Rage Regeneration
Shields now increase both mana and rage when it’s held in. The rate is the same for both at 0.75% per second.
Attacking with your weapons increase both mana and rage. However the type of weapon dictates how much it regenerates of either. The general rule of thumb is that magic weapons regen mana, non magic weapons regen rage.
Normal Weapons: Regens 0.5% Rage, 0.2% Mana
Arcane Weapons: Regens 0.2% Rage, 0.5% Mana
Demon Weapons: Regens 0.2% Rage, 0.2% Mana
Abilities
Ability costs now scale off the player’s level, not the weapon you have equipped. This removes the ability cost penalty for having a high level weapon on your character.
Abilities do not increase in mana/rage costs when you put points into them. However Dash & Leap both still decrease in cost per point.
Abilities now take weapon rarity into account for ability DPS. Keep in mind ability damage isn’t reflected in a weapon summary DPS, since that takes weapon specific bonuses into play. Use the character summary page to accurately see your ability DPS.
Balancing
Gold costs for combining items are now modified depending on that item’s type.
Weapons: 200%
Shield: 100%
Bodygear: 100%
Armgear: 50%
Headgear: 50%
Footgear: 50%
Ring: 50%
Like materials did already, Gold costs now increase if you are trying to forge an item above your level.

Fireball staff now does 80% damage, but give +20% ability damage
Katars now have 140% Weapon Damage
Throwing Daggers now have 120% Weapon Damage
