"FOR BETTER OR FOR WORSE" Comic Strip

"For Better or For Worse" (gocomics.com/forbetterorforworse) by Lynn Johnston ran in its original incarnation from 1979 to 2008. The strip chronicled the lives of the Patterson family and their friends in the fictitious Toronto-area suburban town of Milborough, Ontario. A signature element of the strip was that its characters aged in real time, so that the 29 years of "For Better or For Worse" literally told the story of 29 years of its characters' lives.

This torrent collects the complete run of "For Better or For Worse" from its premiere in 1979 through its conclusion in 2008, in a set of CBR files, one for each year. An additional CBR file collects the "new-run" strips which ran from 2008 to 2010, revisiting early storylines.

The vast majority of the strips were downloaded from the gocomics.com Web site. Unfortunately, though, that site's archive is not quite complete. I was able to download many of the missing strips from the archive at fborfw.com, which is also incomplete, but is missing different strips. Still other strips were obtained from various other sources. In the end, I was able to assemble a collection for this torrent that is complete except for five cartoons from a single week in February of 1982.
