To most people, the Duchess is a myth formed by old pirates tales, but to Reid Cavanaugh, a Caribbean island bum and one of the best divers and treasure hunters in the world, it’s a real, seventeenth century pirate ship—the holy grail of underwater treasure hunting.

Reid uses the same cunning tactics she always has before setting out to find the lost ship. However, she is forced to bring her business partner’s daughter along as collateral this time because he doesn’t trust her. Neither woman is thrilled, but being cooped up on a small dive boat for days, forces them to get know each other quickly.
