She is a SC operative aboard a pirate ship, who meets a double agent, Weiss Kyakh, the notorious mercenary/pirate who made an impact in the last novel as a villain. Kyakh has made a pact with Rae Jacelon to stay out of prison if she will infiltrate a pirate ship, which Madisyn serves as a crew member.
This begins a mutual attraction, despite Kyakh's initial wariness because Pimm is an android. They become part of the battle to free Gantharat when the pirate ship meets up with an Onotharian ship that is commanded by one of this series most despicable villains.
Next, we return to the Supreme Constellation Judge, Amereena Beqq and her budding romance with Ayahliss, the young Gantharat citizen who was freed from an Onotharian prison in book two.
Ayahliss has now earned the Ruby Red suit of an gan'that fighter under the tutelage of Kellen and is eager to go into battle. Amereena, is over twenty years older than the young fighter, and this leads her to believe that she is too old for her.
