FB Alpha PS3 ROM collection

This is the ROMs collection for PS3 FBAlpha

I use FBANext MXM Mod,
based on FB Alpha RL (Retro Loader) v1.03,
based on FB Alpha v0.2.97.08 r487 (2011-07-13 23:52:23)

I've got the clrmamepro dat files from the Windows version of FB Alpha v0.2.97.08 and used it to create the romsets with clrmamepro.

How to use this:

1. First and most important, you need a PS3 with a CFW (I can't help you on this). If you don't have it, forget this torrent.
2. Install FBANext MXM Mod (google for it)
1. It will install on /dev_hdd0/game/FBAN00000
3. Copy this rom collection to your disk.
- This will work either on the internal HDD or external. I recommend to create a ROMS folder on the root of your disk. Inside it, create a folder called FBA and copy both roms and megadrive from this torrent into it. You will end up with:
- /ROMS/FBA/roms
- /ROMS/FBA/megadrive
4. Edit FBA config file
- You need to edit your FBAlpha config file.
- For me, the easiest way was with FTP. You need to enable it on your PS3 and use a program like WinFTP (windows) or Cyberduck (Mac OS). Google for it if you don't know how to enable FTP on your PS3
- The config file is on: /dev_hdd0/game/FBAN00000/USRDIR/fbanext-ps3.xml
- Copy the fbanext-ps3.xml to you desktop and make a backup copy of it. Call it fbanext-ps3-backup.xml. You will need it in case you mess up everything and need to start over.
- Add the path of the place where you have copied the roms to the config file. The path is under configuration/paths/roms
- In my case there was a lot of empty path. I used 2 of them. you can use as much as you want.
- I use an external USB drive. My PS3 detected it as dev_usb006. Make sure what your is. In my case, I added this 2 path:
/dev_usb006/ROMS/FBA/roms/
/dev_usb006/ROMS/FBA/megadrive/
- If you stored your roms in the internal HDD, it may look like
/dev_hdd0/ROMS/FBA/roms/
/dev_hdd0/ROMS/FBA/megadrive/

And that's it.

The megadrive collection is not complete but there's just a few games missing.
All arcade roms I've tested, worked, including NEOGEO games and Street Fighter III 3rd Strike
