Yup, you're right, it was aired on television(ABC) in 5 episodes. A Pilot (which has a seperate page on imbd as a TV Movie) that was aired in 2006, and four episodes that were aired in 2007. When it was released on DVD and BluRay it was presented in 3 parts of longer length (the beginning, the journey & the destiny) combining the pilot and episodes. This encode was done directly from the BluRay Disc hence three parts which contain the entire mini-series.
