About the film:



After the Second World War, Father Merrin, weighed down by memories of the horrors of war and doubted his vocation, he decided to lay down their dignity and leave Europe. Recalling his diploma archaeologist, Merrin joined the expedition, engaged in excavations in a remote area of Africa. The expedition discovers a beautiful church in the Byzantine style, buried under the ground the same day, when it was built.
