Description

Description
A film adaptation of the stage musical by
Sir Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Sir Tim Rice.
It tells the story of Eva, the illegitimate
daughter of a penniless farmer, who attaches
herself to a popular tango singer. This enables
her to move in influential circles within
Buenos Aires society and she soon becomes involved
with rising politician, Juan Peron.
After the couple marry, and Peron is elected president,
Eva's greatest battle begins.
