Storyline:

On the morning of May 10, 1996, climbers from two commercial expeditions start their final ascent toward the summit of Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth. With little warning, a violent storm strikes the mountain, engulfing the adventurers in one of the fiercest blizzards ever encountered by man. Challenged by the harshest conditions imaginable, the teams must endure blistering winds and freezing temperatures in an epic battle to survive against nearly impossible odds.

Spektakularny thriller akcji oparty na jednej z najtragiczniejszych w historii wypraw na Mount Everest. Wszystko działo się w maju 1996 r., kiedy jednego dnia w śniegach Mount Everestu zginęło 15 wspinaczy.
Film opowiada historię grupy ośmiorga himalaistów, którzy pod przewodnictwem Roba Halla (Jason Clarke) próbują zmierzyć się z ekstremalnymi warunkami niedostępnego szczytu. Walka ze śmiertelnym zimnem, nawałnicami śnieżnymi, walka o tlen i przetrwanie.
"Everest" to film o granicach ludzkiej wytrzymałości - fizycznej i psychicznej.
