The First Public Release of the highly sought after Euro Truck Simulator 2 1.17.1 with INCLUDED OCULUS DK2 SUPPORT

Prior to today.... Numerous Oculus Rift owners had to settle for abandoning the incredible Immersion that the Oculus Rift DK2 provided ETS2 because of the exclusivity of these features. For many Oculus owners, it was a death blow to their overall desire to Play ETS2 any further. Months have gone by... Requests for those features to be made public have gone unheard...But today, I am proud to announce that Oculus DK2 owners are now going to be able to enjoy the cutting edge experience that we've longed to have while Cruising in our Big Rigs.

From the Genius who has tirelessly continued to provide the Scene with numerous additions to our Collections of Digital Content - -
MACHINE4578 has done it again!!! This time, providing a personal and dedicated Release, in order to satisfy the demands of the silent minority, MACHINE4578 provides this Version of ETS2 with the sole desire of giving the Fans of both ETS2 and Oculus Rift the highly sought after features they Deserve to experience.

In this build, you will find ETS2 1.17.1 in its current Release form with all included and up to date DLC , As well as, the Exclusive Oculus DK2 Experimental Support. *For individuals without Oculus technology, this release will Function identically to the non-Rift enabled versions. However, as stated, this was a Personal decision made by MACHINE4578 specifically to answer the call of fans...there are numerous other Non-Oculus versions that can be obtained without concern of any issues arising from the DK2 implementation.

MACHINE4578 has ensured that each aspect of this release is complete and ready for immediate use.

*All Cracks have been applied
*Simply select between win_x86 or win_x64 versions from within the "bin" folder.


In order to enable Oculus Rift DK2 Support
1st - create a shortcut of the desired executable x86/x64
2nd - right click the new shortcut and select "Properties"
3rd - at the end of the address in the "Target" section of Properties simply add "-oculus" (without the quotes) and click Apply
**make sure to add a space before the -oculus argument OUTSIDE of the last quotation mark in the address.
IE: "C:Euro.Truck.Simulator.2.Oculus.Betabinwin_x64eurotrucks2.exe" -oculus
4th - double click the Shortcut to start ETS2 with the enabled Oculus support.
**Ensure that your DK2 is set to Extended mode and is properly Calibrated in order to ensure proper display and usage.

Please keep in mind that these features are being implemented on an "Experimental" basis and Users who experience issues or would like additional tips and methods on optimizing the game experience, Should make sure to visit the Developers Forums at http://forum.scssoft.com/index.php for any information that could prove useful.
