Chief is the third studio album by American country music recording artist Eric Church. It was released on July 26, 2011, via EMI Nashville.[1] The album includes the singles "Homeboy", which peaked at number 13 on the Hot Country Songs chart, "Drink in My Hand," which peaked at number 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart becoming his first number one single, and "Springsteen," which also peaked at number 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart becoming his biggest hit yet clocking in at two weeks atop the chart. On June 20, 2012 Chief was certified Platinum by the RIAA having shipped 1,000,000 records.[2] As of January 2013, the album has sold 1,308,000 copies in the US.[3] The album's fifth single, "Like Jesus Does" released to country radio on January 28, 2013.

The album received a nomination for Best Country Album at the 54th Grammy Awards.
