Quality release bro.

Usually 720p releases are under 3Gb. Why is this significantly more? Because of the frame size?

Anyway if you could continue to upload Manchester United matches, that would be great!

There are a number of things that make the MKV's I do a bit larger than usual..

1.) They are all proper 50 FPS progressive video - so that's more frames and thus more data than other uploaders.. Think about it - even some newer Blu-rays are 48p not 50p! I use 50p video in order to stay true to the original as possible - because the original transmission was 25/50i.. So.. in order to stay away from introducing de-interlacing artifacts such as blurriness etc. I use the progressive mode on the PVR. Then there is also judder to consider. When the frame rate is lowered it introduces half way line flicker which I personally find annoying and thus un-watchable..

2.) It's only 1280x720p50 instead of 1920x1080p50 because most media players just simply can't handle the amount of data at that frame rate!

3.) The default for 720p50 is 12MBps - I use 10MBps on here to reduce file size a little bit, but still retain most of the colour without introducing blocky artifacts etc. which is much more than most other uploaders..

3) I use AAC-320KBps audio to retain crowd atmosphere instead of 128KBps which increases size also..

Just finally.. I do nearly all the major matches that are televised and that in all likelyhood would probably include Manchester United..
