This is ESET Smart Security Business Edition 4.0.437 x32 & x64.

There is no KEY & USERNAME required, just install, and it will run with

unlimited updates etc.

Install Notes

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: DELETE/UNINSTALL any and all related files with ESET,

including any cracks/patches/files/folders & registry before installing.



2. When you uninstall your current version of ESET, DO NOT RESTART YOUR COMPUTER

when prompted. Manually restart, after you follow STEP 3 and uninstall ALL

Related Patches as mentioned in STEP 1.



3. Open registry, type /regedit in you run prompt in the start menu. Clear/DELETE

all ESET content from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ESET & HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/ESET.



4. Restart you System



5. Disconnect From Internet



6. Depending on your SYSTEM, launch either ESET 64bit or 32bit edition and wait.



7. During installation, you SHOULD NOT SEE ANY SETUP INTERFACE.When the the ESET

ICON pops up in the task bar, DO NOT CLICK IT.



8. If instead of installation you observe a window with the figure "1" do not get

dissapointed, it is necessary to click START, RUN (Execute), msiexec/unregister

msiexec/regserver. OR Unpack the installation archive with WINRAR, and launch patch.exe

and eavbe.msi (Which are located in the installation archive)



9. NOW THAT YOU INSTALLED IT, and DID NOT TOUCH THE ESET ICON in the LOWER RIGHT TASK BAR,

it is IMPERATIVE THAT YOU RESTART YOUR SYSTEM.



10. When you RESTART, ENABLE YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION. ESET may take a while to LOAD.

IT WILL NOT NECESSARILY load with the LOGO SCREEN during windows START UP, instead, launch

silently directly into the system tray.



11. IT SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY DO an UPDATE of all DEFINITIONS. IF it doesn't do it in the first

5 - 10 minutes, DO IT MANUALLY.



12. After the definition update, you may see the 31 DAY Expiry. However weather you do or

not, go to Program Files/ESET - click CyberMania once. (nothing should happen). Then go to

ESET SMART SECURITY folder, and RUN ESET fix. SELECT BOTH OPTIONS, and click FIXIT.



13. You will be prompted to restart your computer with a counting down 30second menu. Wait

for the automatic restart.



14. When your system loads, you got a fully functional, updatable, ESET Smart Security.

EXTRA HELP

NOTE: If you are USING BitTorrent or UTorrent, it may be wise to do the

following to not effect your Download and Upload Connectivity:



1st. On the ESET interface, go to SETUP/Enter entire advanced setup tree



2nd. In the Pop-Up window, go to Personal Firewall & under filtering mode

select INTERACTIVE MODE.



3rd.Now Open your torrent application, and an ESET window should pop up letting

you know there is a remote computer trying to establish a connection, CHECK

CReATE RULE.This will cause ESET to manually establish it's inbound and

outbound rules, which you will have control over.



4th. Go back to ESET interface, go to SETUP/Enter entire advanced setup

tree/Personal Firewall/Rules and zones & click SETUP under Zone and Rule

Editor.



NOTE: Make sure your torrent application is ALLOWED (GREEN CHECK MARK) under

all 4 ESET Zones including Trusted Zone In/Trusted Zone Out/ Internet In

& Internet Out.



5th. NOW YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH YOUR TORRENT CONNECTIONS!
