Emergency - Season 2 - Disc 1 (1972):



Problem

Roy and John rescue a man who is injured while repairing his car, but when the radio in the ambulance is broken, Roy treats him without medical authorization. This act infuriates the man's personal physician and causes Dr. Brackett and Nurse McCall to come to Roy's defense. Lloyd Bochner and Kevin Dobson guest star in this episode.



Kids

Dr.Early risks his career when he treats a young boy and then accuses the parents of abuse. John and Roy help a boy whose head is stuck in a window and the station adopts a stray dog they name Boot. The dog helps them with a rescue and then promptly leaves with a hook and ladder company.



Show Biz

John is excited when asked to pose as the ideal fireman. Meanwhile, when he and Roy go out on a call, they are assisted by a country doctor who then suffers a heart attack and Dr. Early is involved in a case concerning the death of a young girl in a freak accident. Henry Jones guest stars.



Virus

Dr. Brackett and John are afflicted with a mysterious, deadly and highly contagious virus and a young boy who suffers from vertigo needs to be rescued from a tree house.

Peace Pipe

When Chet and John mix it up over John's native American heritage, they settle their differences with an old Indian custom. Meanwhile, John and Roy work to save the life of a young girl struck by a drunk driver.



Saddled

John's rodeo roping skills come into play during the rescue of a busload of children. Also, a man is rescued from a gas explosion but then causes nothing but trouble to Dr. Brackett, Dr. Early and Nurse McCall. Laeey Storch guest stars.



Fuzz Lady

John falls for an overzealous undercover policewoman. Meanwhile, the station must deal with a rash of petty thefts and boot, the stray dog they adopted, returns. Sharon Gless guest stars.



Traniee

A Vietnam vet trains under John and Roy but he thinks he knows more then they do so tension mounts between them. Meanwhile, the guys rescue a man who falls from a cliff, a woman who has overdosed on drugs and a diabetic. Jackie Coogan guest stars.



Emergency - Season 2 - Disc 2 (1972):



Woman

Woman's lib takes center stage when a beautiful female journalist follows the paramedics for the day. As they rescue a man trapped beneath a truck, another inside a sofabed and another whose arm is caught in the garbage disposal, she won't let up on her opinions. Dick Van Patten appears in this episode.



Dinner Date

Roy arranges a blind date for John, with disastrous results. Meanwhile, a man is rescued after he is shot by his own father-in-law and three drug addicts are treated at the hospital. Seidre Hall and Melissa Gilbert are guest stars.



Musical mania

After some teasing from Chet, John decides to take up a slew of different musical instruments. Meanwhile, doctors treat a case of lockjaw and try to convince a young couple to letthem help their only child, while, in the field, paramedics rescue a girl who has overdosed and a man pinned under a canyon home.



Helpful

A female physician who is moonlighting at Rampart is having a tough time emotionally and physically but Nurse McCall keeps covering for her. Meanwhile, Dr. Early resorts to psychology to treat a student of the occult and the paramedics rescue two boys who've fallen into a rising storm drain.

Drivers

As John complains about drivers who violate the law, the guys are called to help a star football player who has collapsed, a boy stuck in a tree and a man caught in a hotel fire.



School Days

A Young trainee assigned to Roy and Johnlacks confidence because his first few calls don't go well. But when he assists at the scene of a car accident, he feels he has finally earned his stripes



The Professor

Dr. Brackett treats an important foreign dignitary who suffers from a mysterious ailment. Meanwhile, John and Roy rescue a helicopter pilot, deliver a premature baby and keep a man from jumping to his death.



Syndrome

A famous actor is admitted to the hospital and Dr. Brackett suspects he is an old flame of Nurse McCall's. And, when Chet is injured on the job, he checks into the hospital and is placed in a room with Roy, who is recovering from a tonsillectomy. Robert Alda guest stars in this episode.

Honest

John and Roy argue about the merits of honesty, with John saying that it's never wrong to tell the truth. However, when they go out on their calls, they realize that there may be times whenit's better to lie.



Seance

When a series of a strange accidents occur after a seance, one of the participants believes it's the work of her dead sister. Meanwhile, paramedics rescue a man who is trapped underwater in his car. Charles Aidman and Bruno Kirby guest star.



Boot

Boot, the station's mascot, is listlessand won't eat. Meanwhile, a woman suffers a string of accidents in her home while attempting to make dinner for her date and his mother and the paramedics rescue a woman whose sports car gets stuck beneath a gasoline truck.



Rip-Off

After being accused of stealing money from a man they rescue, John and Roy race to the aid of a plane leaking a dangerous substance. As the alarm continues to mount the paramedics arrive at the scene of a car accident to find a man blinded by the crash and his wife...who is about to give birth

Audit

While John deals with an audit by the IRS, he and Roy must decide whether or not to amputate the leg of a construction worker who is caught beneath a collapsed building. Meanwhile, a professional patient arrives at the hospital suffering from a variety of aliments.
