 Synopsis:

 In the year 2159 there are two kinds of people : The very rich who live in a neat space station manmade called Elysium, and the rest , those living in overcrowded planet Earth in ruins. Secretary Rhodes ( Jodie Foster) , a hard government official , will stop at nothing to enforce anti - immigration laws and preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium . But that does not stop the people of Earth in its efforts to try to get by whatever means they can .



 When the unfortunate Max ( Matt Damon ) is backed into a corner , he agrees to participate in a daunting mission that if successful will not only save your life but also could bring these two worlds equality fully polarized .
