Ecological Land Co-operative (UK) - Annual Monitoring Report 2013-2014 This is a report on the activities of The Ecological Land Co-operative: "The Ecological Land Co-operative has been set up to buy land that has been, or is at risk of being, intensively managed and lease it to people that have the skills to manage it ecologically and would not otherwise be able to afford do so." http://www.ecologicalland.coop/about-us "Greenham Reach Smallholdings In April 2013 we were granted planning permission to develop our first three affordable smallholdings for new entrants to ecological agriculture. Since then three families have moved on and have been developing their livelihoods." We committed to reporting annually to the local planning authority on progress at the site. . Our first annual monitoring report is now available to download. We report on the environmental, social and economic impact of the project, including: employment and voluntary opportunities created; the state of the soils and habitats; traffic generated; energy and water use; waste treatment; and on the visual impact of the project."
