Episode S01E05: A Death in the Family\n

It's hard to believe it's supposed to be part of "The Earth Collection".\n

If this is a mistake it goes right back to the initial promotion of The Discovery Channel's HD Theater DVD set. It has nothing to do with any of the other six episodes. They all have narration and are great scientific & informative documentaries...\n

"Faces of Earth" & "The Sun"\n

Actually this particular episode is one of an eight part series directed by David Conover entitled "Sunrise Earth: Seaside Collection". They all have no narration and as the title suggests, are sunrises from all over the world.\n

The series is an example of the genre known as "Experiential TV". If this episode did in fact find it's way onto the "Earth Collection" then either The Discovery Channel is recycling (which they do sometimes) or they were duped by a poorly budgeted production company. Oh well..."Earth Collection" does make for a good six part series :)
