Max (Olaf Lubaszenko) jest świetnie zapowiadającym się doktorem filozofii. Skromna pensja naukowca i znikome perspektywy na lepszą przyszłość, zmuszają go do poszukiwania dodatkowych źródeł dochodu. Max pisze prace magisterskie, dyplomowe i licencjackie na zamówienie. Jedną z jego klientek zostaje Stella (Agnieszka Włodarczyk), studentka ostatniego roku pedagogiki. Pozornie prosta sprawa komplikuje się, gdy Max zakochuje się w Stelli, która jest dziewczyną Ramzesa (Cezary Pazura) - zazdrosnego o nią wpływowego gangstera. Stella, jak przystało na prawdziwą, femme fatale, doprowadza do prawdziwego męskiego pojedynku pomiędzy Ramzesem a Maxem. Jednocześnie Ramzes wpada na pomysł podniesienia swoich kwalifikacji. Chce - podobnie jak Max - zostać doktorem filozofii. Zmusza naukowca do poprowadzenia jego doktorantury: napisania pracy na temat paradoksu kłamcy i przygotowania go do egzaminu doktoranckiego. Pochłonięty karierą naukową gangster nie zauważa coraz bardziej w sobie zakochanych Stelli i Maxa...

Max ( Olaf Lubaszenko ) is a great promising doctor of philosophy . A modest salary scientist and little prospects for a better future , forcing it to seek additional sources of income. Max writes theses , diploma and bachelor's order. One of his clients is Stella ( Agnieszka Wlodarczyk ) , a student of final year of education . Seemingly simple matter becomes more complicated when Max falls in love with Stella , who is a girl Ramses ( Cezary Claw ) - jealous of her influential gangster. Stella, as befits a true femme fatale , leads to real male duel between Ramses and Max . At the same time Ramses gets an idea to raise their qualifications .
