First you need to know which kind of savegames you have. I found out i had RLD savegames in this location (windows must be set to show hidden files and folders) C:ProgramDataSteamRLD!239140. If you have savegames there that is good news. Don't touch them. Just install the 1.4 patch and when you select crack choose the ALI213 (for RLD! savegame) crack. Just drag and copy over the old files. (oh yeah when you launch the game again it will be in russian, just navigate to your dying light installation directory and open the file ALI23 in notepad (YOU MUST UNCHECK READ ONLY FIRST BEFORE EDITING IT OR ELSE IT WONT LET YOU) and change the line Language=russian to Language=english then SAVE and re-check the read-only checkbox. This patch definately helped my fps on r9 290x
