DescriptionDungeons & Dragons, or Dungeons and Dragons, was a cartoon created in 1983, in the United States, based RPG of the same name, which was very successful at the time. The American public loved the idea and the story was repeated here in Brazil when the TV started showing the episodes on Sunday mornings. Despite the great success, the series only had three emporadas and was dropped without explanation. PLOT During a tour of the new amusement park in town a group of children decides to enter a new toy called Dragon's Lair (Dungeons and Dragons), a kind of ghost train. The problem is that the toy is actually an interdimensional passage that leads boys to a world where there are warriors, dragons, wizards, etc.. Arriving there they are greeted by the Dungeon Master that helps, delivering magical weapons for them to defend the many dangers of the place, as Venger and Tiamat. The series revolves around the search for a "way home" by the heroes. Alas there are two problems: they would have to leave Uni, the Unicorn Bobby, and all the magical weapons behind. They could not get them to Earth. THE FINAL DESIGN "THE CAVE OF THE DRAGON" Is this story true? We do not know, but worth curiosity! Legend has it that the Dragon's Lair was written by a group of RPG players and after each game, and they wrote their adventure turned into script design to sell to the producer. Like any RPG game has an end, the design also had. But the end never aired. Do you know why? Because the producer did not buy the last chapter of Dragon's Lair!. The producer refused to buy the end because he was, at least, cruel. Take a look: "In their latest adventure, that dragon with 7 heads tell the truth and then they show. Dragon says that they never return to Earth. Never because when they were down that roller coaster cart, they have not entered into another dimension . the basket fell ... and they died. they will not come back because they are dead. and there is hell! As none of them were nice in real life, they ended up in hell after you die in fall from cart Kakara and decided to play with them. Cruel and sadistic, the coisa.ruim sometimes appeared Avenger and sometimes Dungeon Master! The two were actually the same person: the Devil, sadistic, throwing and playing with the new residents of his empire! The Dragon is actually an angel going to hell on a mission to try to get them to discover the truth and that, after so many attempts, ultimately revealing it. The demon had a helper who helped him in this work. Someone who always kept them back (ie to discover that there was no turning): the little unicorn Uniii. It actually was an envoy of the demo that followed them all the time to stop them and play with their feelings. They never come back and live in that HELL FOREVER. That is the truth revealed officially by the Master of the game Dungeons and Dragons. Now we can understand why not produced the last chapter ...! " OFFICIAL EPISODE This plot (above) macabre was widely circulated on the Internet and so well told that many people started to take it as being true. To end the doubts, the 2000 Hero talked with two writers and the creator of the design, which agreed on one thing: it's all bullshit! Gary Gyrax, producer and creator of Dragon Cave, is who defines: "There is some truth in it as well No episode was produced Tiamat is not an angel, or even help in any way..." Have Mark Evanier, one of the writers of the series, is more emphatic: "This is completely false Although several possible endings were discussed, no last episode was actually produced". The writer Michael Reaves, screenwriter eight episodes, adds: "Dragon's Lair was a drawing very bleak for his time - as much as is Gargoyles. We took him as far as possible for a children's program "Although Cave have been a design ahead of its time, Reaves says that there would be no chance of such a story have aired:." The boys were not arrested in hell, even the Dungeon Master is the devil or something. This whole story is absurd, "he says. But then, what is the truth anyway? The Real End At the end of the third year of the series, CBS decided to air an episode that close down the season. Michael Reaves wrote what may be considered the very last chapter of the series: Requiem. "This episode was written so that it had a double meaning, ambiguous and triumphant: the design does not continue, the end would be satisfactory if continued, the episode would serve as a springboard for a new direction." Reaves finished the script Requiem in May 1985. Much to his surprise (and everyone), the series was abruptly terminated and this script just never leaving the paper. Gary Gyrax explains why: "In 85, the design team met with the executives at Marvel and CBS and it was decided that the series would continue the following season The six boys - older and experienced - would be called back to the world. Cave Dragon by Dungeon Master. Three scripts design were made and I even approved of them. But some problems arose. D & D Corp.. closed and CBS along with Marvel decided not to continue further with the design. a new series is over canceled even before it was produced. "Case solved and closed. The Final That Nobody Saw Requiem can be considered the true end of Dragon's Lair. Written almost fifteen years ago, the story has some surprising revelations and an outcome that would certainly please the fans. "I wish the episode was called Redemption (Redemption), but the network felt that this name was not much in the face," says Michael Reaves.
