An entertaining and illuminating journey through the 18 other countries that now have their own versions of the hit programme. Featuring some of the most bizarre inventions and cringeworthy pitches, the angriest exchanges, as well as the joyous moments when the plucky entrepreneur actually gets investment.

Highlights include the scary bald Canadian guy, but who actually talks a load of sense if you can stop quaking in your boots in front of him for a moment to actually listen what he's got to say. Darryn Lyons of the London picture agency Big Pictures was one of the entrepreneurs on the Australian version of the show. (Well I suppose he is an Aussie after all.)

It also shows excerpts from the original Japanese format. But shows that it was in British hands that the format was fully developed and really took off; and it is this British way of doing things that has been exported to all of the other world markets.
