OMG!!! THIS IS PLAYABLE!!!! THANK YOU!!! I had to dumb down the graphics and it still lags but once I managed to reset everything it was not enough to be annoying during gameplay like before! I already passed through the intro and met Solas and Varric! Sure the cut scenes lag, but I can't seem to fix that. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

And I own a dual core!

I was having the same problem, but not with this game. After I asked around the forums I was given a link to AIO pack. I don't remember where I asked, either here or on Tom's Hardware, but running the package and updating/installing all redistributable libraries solved my problem.
