Dr. Phil talks to two mothers who say their grown children are freeloaders who won't let them cut the cord. Can Dr. Phil get them motivated?

A Scamming Son?

Dorothy says her 27-year-old son, Johnnie, is a lazy college dropout who has scammed her out of thousands of dollars and keeps coming back for more. Johnnie says he would rather travel the world than hold down a steady job or get a degree. Can Dr. Phil inspire mother or son — or both — to change?

Entitled or Enabled?

Johnnie's older sister, Kristin, says her mother is enabling her brother, and her mother enjoys the drama that ensues. But does Dorothy agree?

An Ultimatum

Maria says she still takes care of her 24-year-old daughter, Alexis, a college graduate, as if she were 12 years old, and she's tired of it. She's giving Alexis eight months to find her own place — or else.
