Double Trouble - Season 1 (Parent Trap Gone Wrong)

A teen drama about a set of identical twin Aboriginal girls separted at birth who meet up accidentally 15 years later. They concoct an outrageous scheme to switch places in order to meet their other family. One twin has been brought up in the bright lights of Sydney and the other twin grew up in a remote traditional Aboriginal community in Central Australia.

This is a retelling of Disney's "The Parent Trap" which approaches the story from the standpoint of what if the girls reunion plans went horribly wrong. Including issues like:

What if no one believed the girls have switched places.

What if one twin refused to switch back

What if a life threatening situation would be created if the existance of the twins became known

Remember in traditional aboriginal culture twins were thought to be the ultimate curse. Mothers and their twins were cast out into the desert to die. Even in modern Australia aboriginal twins are not treated well.
