Dokidoki! Precure is a Japanese anime series produced by Toei Animation and the tenth installment in Izumi Todo's Pretty Cure franchise. The series is produced by Hiroaki Shibata, who produced Digimon Data Squad and written by Ryōta Yamaguchi, who wrote the scripts for The Vision of Escaflowne. Character designs were handled by Akira Takahashi, who previously done the designs for Suite PreCure. The series began airing on TV Asahi's ANN network from February 3, 2013, replacing Smile PreCure! in its initial timeslot. This series' theme is card suits and human emotions.

After Joe explains what he knows about the Royal Crystals, he takes the girls with him on a train ride, which he believes to be another clue that could lead them to the remaining Royal Crystal. Whilst stopping by a field of flowers, Joe tells Mana about how he and Ann came to fall in love. After the Jikochu attacked the Trump Kingdom, he followed Ann to the human world. Just then, Regina targets a young boy and creates a Train Jikochu. As Joe fends off Regina, the Cures chase after the Jikochu and defeat it before it can destroy the field of flowers. The girls then receive a Royal Crystal from the train, leaving just the one that Regina stole.
