I am not someone who believes in all the stuff about angels, but I chanced upon this book and am really happy with it. There really isn't any angel stuff in here, just very relevent and to the point Hermanic wisdom. And the wisdom is fantastic. I highly recommend this book to any spiritual seeker

I enjoyed reading and putting into action the seven spiritual laws of manifestation as outlined in the book Divine Magic (Hay House Classics), I have actually Studied The Emerald Tablet and I feel that Doreen Virtue has made the work much clearer and more practical to use in this time. I have had wonderful insights and results from working with the message in this book. Well written and quite powerful. The added bonus of a CD is terrific.

I love this book, but more than that I love the companion CD. I downloaded the CD to my mp3 and I listen to it all day long on repeat and every night when I go to sleep. I truley wish she'd make another with more detail.
My personal thoughts and review:
Let me begin by saying I'm not a huge fan of Doreen Virtue, I have several of her different Angel decks, one of her books, and a bunch of her audio programs but have never bought a single one...they were all various things that various friends and such have given me over time. I've read the book, listened to the programs, used the decks a few times but haven't been impressed enough with them to use them often. I have gotten some good information from her other materials, but it is always mixed in with feel good new age type material.
I saw this program online and I quite frankly was shocked, Doreen Virtue is known for writing about angels and how to work with angels and this and that with angels, it's why the first review from Amazon that I posted above said they are "Not an Angel Person". I was looking for an audio book version of the Kybalion that isn't as annoying to listen to as the computerized one that is out there right now when I happened across this. I was pleasantly surprised.
Doreen Virtue does a quite good job in her modernized version of the Kybalion. I was expecting it to have a much more "new age-ish" type feel to it. Granted it does at times, but this is to be expected from someone who has based their entire authorship around such teachings. Considering this fact I am quite impressed with how how well she did do in keeping the principles and teachings from the Kybalion and making them more understandable in light of the vernacular and linguistic differences from the early 1900s to the present day. It's not as in depth as the original, she boils the whole thing down to 7 principles and then shows how to apply them to your every day life. It is a great way of introducing people to a wonderful text.
This CD initially came with a book which called it a "meditative" CD, but upon listening to the CD I found that it infact wasn't what I would typically call a meditative CD. It was in fact an abridged audio version of the book along with additional commentary. The only way that I can figure that they justify calling it a "meditative" CD is that it allows you to further think upon and ponder the meanings and insight of the book as well as providing further reflection and insight as you review the information once again. If you go into this in a meditative mindset/state then you can allow the ideas to sink in on more of a subconscious level, but they don't explain that on the CD or in the book...it is all just my supposition as to why they call it a meditative.
I don't have the book that came with the CD, that's why it's not uploaded along with this CD. I did look into it, I even went down to the library and got it out (had to get it through inter-library loan) but after having listened to the CD, and then reading the book there wasn't anything more in the book to make it worth the time scanning the book as well. Even though the text of the book is abridged on the CD it has all of the main content and information that is contained in the book, and it also has further commentary/information on the CD that is not included in the text. Therefore I decided to just include the CD.
I would still HIGHLY recommend reading the original text if you haven't. Personally I would recommend reading it before you listen to this program, just because that's the order that I did it in, and the order that they were written in. But you really need to decide if you think that you would get more out of the original text if you had it explained to you in more modern terms first then explored the original...or if you would get the most out if it if you read the original and then heard it explained in modern terms to fill in some gaps in your understanding. What I would actually recommend as the most advantageous course of action is to read the original text which can be found at http://theoccult.bz/details.php?id=136, then listen to this CD, then read the original text again.
