Support the people who made these flicks... Kevin has at least 4 movies in some stage of production currently, and Mewes just had a kid, for goodness' sake!) Years ago, Kevin Smith or someone at View Askew suggested that one could create their own "Extended Cut" of the 1998 film Dogma by reinserting the deleted scenes from the second disc into the main feature. After years of pondering the feasibility of such a thing, I finally made it happen earlier this year.. Since the rough quality of the deleted scenes makes it impossible to be a true extended cut, I've chosen to call it an extended workprint edition. I did my best to deblock the pixellated deleted footage especially for this release, since it seems to suffer more than the DVD source when re-encoded to x264. The result is an uninterrupted viewing experience, with over 40 minutes of footage reinserted as seamlessly as possible. Hope everyone enjoys it! Happy new year! -Dec 31st, 2015. PS: If anyone would like to help with a full DVD-R release, it is still in need of subtitles, and I'd like to adapt the DVD menus from my Special Edition discs in an effort to keep continuity and allow those who own the 2-disc set to add this as a "third disc" to their sets.
