PLOT SUMMARY:


In this third Gill-Man feature, the Creature is captured and turned into an air-breather by a rich mad scientist. This makes the Creature very unhappy, and he escapes, killing people and setting fires in the process....

TRAMA:


L'ennesima spedizione parte alla volta della Laguna Nera. Il mostro viene nuovamente catturato, ma in seguito a un incidente viene orribilmente ustionato. Gli scienziati (Jeff Morrow e Rex Reason), scoprono sotto la pelle squamosa della creatura un secondo strato molto piu' simile all'epidermide umana. L'uomo-pesce possiede inoltre polmoni, i quali vengono attivati per permettergli di sopravvivere in superficie, dal momento che l'apparato branchiale e' stato irreparabilmente danneggiato. La creatura riuscira' a fuggire dal laboratorio e seminera' il panico per le strade....

COMMENT:


The third installment of the Black Lagoon trilogy offers all the important elements you came to expect in the first two films, including an assortment of lunkheads vying for the love of a damsel in a white, one-piece bathing suit and a Gill Man in a terrible predicament. This time a wealthy yachtsman sets out to capture the Gill Man and accidentally discovers a secret beneath that green, scaly exterior. Good fun.

Cambia il regista ma non la sostanza, qui si ritrovano essenzialmente gli stessi elementi che hanno caratterizzato i primi due capitoli.


Interessante la presenza di polmoni nel mostro, che avvicinano, in fondo, questo essere alla specie umana...una diversa evoluzione o una mutazione della specie?


lasciamo agli amanti del cinema i dibattiti su questa questione e godiamoci il film.
