Downloaded. Extracted image. Mounted image. Installed game. Copied 3 files from the SKIDROW folder: "SKIDROW," "steam_api.dll," "Steamclient.dll," to the installation directory. Confirmed "overwrite" of the three already-existing files by the same name in the installation folder. Attempted to start game...nothing happens. Processing action of the mouse cursor like the game is about to start...but then nothing. Not sure what's up. Kind of weird that when I copied the files from the SKIDROW crack folder, that there were only 3, and not an "app" crack-file as is the norm, as I remember normally being the case. Any info is appreciated.

Update: I Reinstalled, and this time, instead of copying the "crack" files (three from the SKIDROW folder) to the installation folder, I just ran the game without copying/overwriting those files. The game started and I am playing it. I'm not sure why the game won't play when following the directions and copying the crack files into the installation folder, but it will play when not copying/overwriting those files.
