Harlemites and Dipset aficionados waited 3+ years for their Harlem rap heroes to settle their differences and go back to the early days of the Set circa 2002 and 2003 and get back together on some G shit. Taking their uptown swag downtown to the Hammerstein Ballroom for the Hot97 reunion concert, The Diplomats were back huggin' the stage in unison and reppin' the Diplomats like the good ol' days. Taking place on Black Friday (November 26, 2010) of last year, the Dipset Reunion show was epic by all standards. It was the Dips first concert together in as long as anybody could remember, the bosses were all there (Cam, Jim, Juelz & Freekey, plus an appearance from Vado), the smoke was thick, the Capo had his mink fur on, Freekey brought out the Dipset Divas rockin' nothing but drawers and a full-length leather robe, the new gunner Vado showed up to put it down for Dipset's new generation and the Dips threw up their sets for fallen comrade Huddy6 and Stack Bundles. Captured all in HD footage by It's Showtime DVD, this is that official amateur front-row-type recording of a show for the ages. This is for all those who weren't in attendance for this magical Harlem night.... THE DIPS ARE BACK!
