"This worked for me, but I also had to make some changes in the file Default.ini on the system folder of Deus Ex. Change the parameters: * StartupFullscreen=True to False * UseFullscreen=True to False Then the game started correctly and levels loaded. You can change the resolution so the window will become larger. To do so go to your my documents folder and on the Deus Ex - Invisible War edit the file user.ini and search for WindowedViewportX=1024 and WindowedViewportY=768 change them accordingly."
