[deanzel] Outlaw Star v2 [BD 1440x1080 Hi10P Dual Audio FLAC-AC3]

This is the version 2 of my BD 1080p (1440x1080) Hi10p FLAC-AC3 Dual Audio remux of Outlaw Star which is one of my favorite anime from my childhood. I put this together because while I was glad that CBM made a quick release, I was definitely a bit dissatisfied with his release in terms of its video quality, subs and lack of chapters and karaoke/titles. This uses Kagura’s 1080p Hi10p FLAC raw from the JP-BD as its base which has the best video quality by far of any encode released atm. I used the English 2.0 AC3 audio from CBM’s recent Outlaw Star BD release (the English audio is actually from the US-DVD). I created my own modified version of CBM’s R1 subs by adding in reworked Karaoke effects and titles from Gray_Phantom’s (G_P) DVD release. I also added chapters from OZC’s release.

The karaoke looks solid and G_P had nice effects for their original release. I kept the base of it but modified the positioning and text in order to better fit the higher resolution video and because it was originally synced with the creditless versions of the OP & EDs. I slightly adjusted the timing of the karaoke effects and fixed some spelling errors that were present. I also added in the Episode Titles, "Next Episode" title and Preview Titles from the G_P release because CBM didn't include any in his subs (this is the main thing that I added in the subs for my v2). Other than that I thought that CBM did a pretty good job with the R1 subs for the dialogue and basic signs so I kept them intact. I’ve included screenshots if you want to see what the new karaoke and titles looks like.



I love this show so I wanted to make a Hi10p dual audio release with all the extra bells and whistles. I will most likely not release a 720p version unless a nice raw pops up somewhere. This is it. If you’ve got any questions or find any problems, just let me know. This will definitely take a bit of time to completely seed out. I’ve already uploaded this completely on to AnimeBytes if you need to get it right away.
