The Long Story

Dead Beyond Buried formed in 1998 by Michael Lee, Simon Lee, Oliver Marchant and John Biscomb.



Originally starting life as a brutal hardcore outfit they quickly moved into the realms of Death Metal releasing Condemned To Misery(2006) and Inheritors Of Hell (2012) though Siege of Amida records. The albums saw the band receive critical acclaim in the major metal press and major tours and festival appearances followed.



After growing increasingly frustrated by the modern death metal scene and the business side of the metal music industry, Dead Beyond Buried shifted their focus onto writing a concept album of epic proportions, incorporating fresh intuitive guitar riffing whilst keeping the more traditional structure of songwriting, leaving behind the contest of "faster heavier"ideals persued by many of today's bands.



Combine that with a lyrical concept so vast and expressive and you have 2012's The Dark Era, set to be free for digital downloads and void of any 3rd party bullshit. Dead Beyond Buried are making music the way it should be. Stay tuned for the forthcoming release
