A possible noob question but, is there a way to make this suit fit G2F?

That should work with autofit. You just need to select the suit from you actual library instead of relying on the smart content, as only G2F items will show up there as long as you have a G2F figure selected. Once you parent the G2M clothing to G2F the usual dialogue should come up, asking which figure the item was made for and what type of item it is. Just select the appropriate options and confirm.
Sometimes the results may not be ideal (especially with extreme shapes or poses) but most of the time this works out fine for me.

I agree soooo much. The things they call "space suits" or "sci-fi armor" are nothing more than fancy looking metal handkerchiefs that barely cover the bits and bobs of the female body. Stupid.

So true! And most of the female clothing items are body paint rather than cloth or even metal. So very few items realize that, for example, the fabric needs to stretch across the breasts when something is even slightly tight (not follow into every divot and valley).
Armors especially need chestplates that are flat, for males and for females. If they're to be used as armors, anyway.
