I wouldnt think David is required either, but that is what it says on the product page, so I included it. Cheers!

Does not install. I use DAZ Studio 4.6

Actually, I do not think 'David Base' is required. This is one of the between-times hairs, so V4/A4 and V3/A3 support, but some M4. I am guessing to fit M3 one needs D3, but obviously that has no bearing on use with V4.
