Daredevil by Frank Miller (1979-1986|Digital|AnPymGold-Empire) {VTS}

Daredevil was a minor character in the Marvel universe when Frank Miller took over the title and revamped both the character's pathos and depth and a newer, grittier take on nighttime New York itself which distinguished it from Spider-Man's bustling daytime metropolis. Coupled with adding major supporting players in the form of Bullseye and the critical romance with Elektra, Miller's legendary run made Daredevil a complex and powerful figure with a lot of drama to deal with. This torrent presents ALL the issues that Miller wrote in both of his runs on the title; the initial, highly-lauded run that covers the Elektra tale and the second act which features the "Born Again" storyline in which the Kingpin sets out to methodically destroy Matt Murdock's life. In between, I have included the bridging graphic novel, Love And War, as well.

*Note* - the graphic novel should be read after issue 191, before issue 219.
