Dolby Headphone, sometimes referred to as Mobile Surround, is a technology which allows you to listen to music, watch movies, or play video games with surround effects using any set of two channel stereo headphones. The sources of this release are Quadraphonic versions of the tracks ripped from the 8-Track Cartridge.

Towards the end of 1967 The Golliwogs changed their name to Creedence Clearwater Revival and that was the start of a five year period in music that would see one of the most prolific release schedules in music history: seven studio albums as well as a number of live albums in that period. In between releases they still toured continuously. Led by John Fogerty who was the main songwriter in the band CCR notched up hit after hit in this short space of time. Not just hits but CLASSICS such as Proud Mary, Fortunate Son, Bad Moon Rising, Have You Ever Seen The Rain, Green River, Lookin’ Out My Back Door, Sweet Hitch-Hiker and Who’ll Stop The Rain to name but a few. In 1972 the band split up due to friction within the band but left behind a legacy of recordings that will still be played for centuries to come.

Creedence Gold is a compilation album of the band Creedence Clearwater Revival released in 1972. The original vinyl release featured pictures of the band under the colored profile flaps on the cover. Overseas releases switched the cover art, with the band photo on the front, and the colored silhouettes on the back. A Quadraphonic version of this album was released on both vinyl and 8-Track cartridge formats (the source of this release), and is considered one of the rarest Quadraphonic releases.
