The legend starts with Conan as a young boy who witnesses the brutal murder of his parents and his village torn apart by the barbaric Vanir tribe, led by Thulsa Doom (James Earl Jones, Star Wars ), the head of a mysterious snake cult. When Conan's life is spared he is taken as a slave to work on the unforgettable ‘Wheel of Pain'.
Conan is later sold as a pit-fighter where he is trained to be a strong and worthy warrior. With his immense strength and determination to seek revenge for his parents death, he one day earns his freedom and sets off on a long and trichinous journey. When Conan attracts the attention of King Osric (Max von Sydow, Flash Gordon, The Exorcist ) he is offered a lucrative proposition.
