Complete Marvel Chronology Handbook vol 003 1960-1969 2nd Edition

The Complete Marvel Chronology Handbook is a reference book providing a wealth of information about Marvel Comics and the CMC torrents which make available every Marvel Comic ever published between 1939 and 2009, and eventually beyond!



All the Marvel uploads are available at h33t.com and Mininova.org. Search for 'Complete Marvel Chronology' to begin your Marvel digital comics collection. To date the years 1960-1975 have been uploaded.



As a record of Marvel Comics' history the Handbook provides a year-by-year history of the many events that have shaped the company and it's thousands of titles, featuring important debuts and storylines, business decisions that influenced the titles produced, background info that places the comics into a world that makes you feel that you are reading the comics as they were published!



In addition each Handbook features cover scans of almost all the comics for each year, I may have missed a couple so I don't want to promote the venture as containing every one.



As well as a history of Marvel Comics, the Handbook is a reference work which provides a vast amount of information about the CMC uploads, providing details to assist you in knowing exactly which issues you are downloading, who scanned the issue and whether it is cover to cover or story only. Plus many other useful points of interest.



Each Handbook covers one decade, and this volume is numbered 003 and covers the years 1960-1969.



Eventually seven volumes will cover the seventy years from 1939 through to 2009.



Second Edition



This is the Second Edition of the CMC Handbook vol 003 1960-1969. It contains several changes to the first edition, all designed to improve the use of the book and also to fix a few errors in the text and statistics.

• Where Annuals are released without a cover-date details are given to identify the chronological placement of the issue.



There are also several additions to the listings for various books and records which have come to light since the original listings were compiled.



Most are still unscanned but a couple of items (the Hulk record and the Donruss cards) have been found and will be included in Fill Pack 002, which will be uploaded after the 1979 upload.



This book will be of interest to any reader of Marvel Comics, whether you intend to download the digital comics or not, and I hope you take as much pleasure from reading and studying it as I have in putting it together.
