--jvjr68 Understanding Angels Date: 12-23-10 Host: George Noory Guests: John Ronner, Scott Degenhardt, Jerome Corsi Author John Ronner discussed the history of angels, and various types of encounters with them, as well as shared death experiences. He was joined during the second hour by Scott Degenhardt who recounted his encounter with his father's spirit. "I could feel the freshness of him having just left his physical body...we were having this wonderful reunion," he said, adding that he saw a tunnel open up and in it he could sense an entire realm of spiritual beings. An overseer spoke to his father, telling him that it was time to go, and they entered the tunnel, which then snapped closed. Angelic encounters or interventions can take on different qualities, including hearing voices, Ronner reported. For instance, a woman trapped in her Florida home during Hurricane Andrew heard a voice telling her to put out her hand. When she did, a cushion flew into it that she used to protect herself during the storm. Ronner personally investigated a Wyoming case, in which a deranged man brought a bomb to an elementary school, and some of the children saw spiritual beings who warned them to move to a different location. Angels, who could be considered entities that are more evolved than humans in spiritual form, have their own hierarchy. The most popular theory about angelic hierarchies is by Dionysius from around 500 AD, in which he proposed there are nine different orders, with the seraphim being the highest, and the guardian angels at the bottom of the scale, concerned with looking after human beings. Interestingly, in the Middle Ages, people kept diaries about their angelic encounters, and the more they focused on it, the more the encounters occurred, Ronner detailed. Economy & Shroud of Turin First hour guest, author Jerome Corsi shared updates on the economy and the Shroud of Turin. In the coming year, he foresees increased bankruptcies in the European Union, as well as the United States, and a rise in the price of oil. Regarding the Shroud, he said it was incredible to see the cloth in person, which looks to him like a radiation burn. At the close of the show, George played Christian Wilde's rendition of Mary's Boy Child. Warren, Rosemary Ellen Guiley, Dr. Roger Leir, Lionel Fanthorpe, David Wilcock George Noory and friends celebrated Christmas Eve together on a live edition of the program. In the first hour, author and investigator Joshua P. Warren shared a Christmas Paranormal moment, discussing how sightings of Santa could relate to tulpas or thought forms. As many people are focused on the idea of Santa, their thoughts can be changed into frequencies that physically manifest themselves, he explained. Warren also shared a recent spooky encounter when he was snowed in at his museum (a former jail site) in Asheville. While sleeping overnight there, he was awakened by scratching noises, and then unseen hands yanked a coat off him. Following Warren, four guests appeared in individual half-hour segments. First, author Rosemary Ellen Guiley talked about the Christmas Eve tradition of telling ghost stories by the hearthside. She also shared an account of a woman struggling with alcohol who had an angelic-type encounter that changed the course of her life. Next, Dr. Roger Leir expounded on alien implants, suggesting they may provide the strongest evidence yet for ET visitation and alien abduction. Lionel Fanthorpe joined the show at the top of the third hour, sharing his thoughts on the spirit of generosity, which he said was exemplified by the innkeeper at Bethlehem who had no rooms when the pregnant Mary arrived, but cleaned out the stable for her to stay. He also related the intriguing testimony of a Texas woman who woke up on Christmas Eve, and saw what looked like a traditional Santa Claus in the adjoining room. He appeared transparent and she could see the Christmas tree lights through him. Intuitive researcher David Wilcock said he thinks the meaning of Christmas is "ultimately [about] the promise of achieving some sort of metaphysical transformation," as well as the bonding and joy shared among loved ones at this time of year. The evening closed with an hour of Miracle Open Lines, & various Christmas-themed audio clips. These are among the questions explored when clairvoyant and historian Tricia McCannon joined us Christmas night with Ian Punnett. Citing details that emerged in Dolores Cannon's regression work, Jesus was with the Essenes at age 8. Later, he went to England three different times, traveling by ship. From ages 14-15, he was in Celtic lands studying with the Druids, said McCannon. Then, he traveled east by ship to India, and studied with Hindu teachers, she continued. Around age 20, assassins were sent to kill Jesus, according to documents in the Hemis library, and he fled to a Buddhist monastery where he lived for six years, and was acknowledged as the second Buddha. She talked about her research into the Mystery Schools such as practiced in ancient Egypt, Greece, and Persia, and by the Hindu and Druids. "The bigger picture according to the Mysteries, would be that everything goes through cycles," McCannon noted, adding that we move through 4 ages with different levels of spirit vs. matter-- golden (most spirit), silver, bronze, and the current dark age (least spirit). She also addressed her spiritual work with a group of ascended masters who teach a specific path to the divine: God can be experienced through love, sound, and light. Power of Prayer First hour guest, Bill Sweet, discussed the power of prayer. Interestingly, experiments done with people praying over unhealthy plants showed that non-directed prayer was often more effective than goal-oriented prayer, in normalizing the health of the plants, he reported. Higher quality prayers, such as those done with respect, can also help increase positive outcomes, he noted. The Christmas season is supernaturally charged, she said, noting how various cultures believe that spirits can more easily step into our dimension at this very special time of year. In some Scandinavian countries, it is tradition to lay out a supper for any ghosts that might roam into one's home, as a way of honoring the dead and insuring good fortune for the coming year, Ventura explained. This is similar to the Western practice of leaving milk and cookies out for Santa Claus, she added. There are numerous beliefs about magical things occurring on Christmas Eve. In old Europe it was commonly held that water left out on that night would turn into wine, Ventura continued. Water drawn from a well on Christmas Eve was changed to blood, and if gazed upon, would shorten the curious viewer's lifespan to less than a year, she noted. A Slavic belief held that young women could see their future spouses on Christmas Eve. According to this tradition, a single woman put out a loaf of bread, along with a plate, knife and fork, and in the night the 'spirit' of her future husband would arrive and throw the knife at her, Ventura said. If the knife hits and injures the woman, her future spouse will die young; if it does not hit her, he will be a good and kind man, she revealed. Some believe that animals can converse and be understood by humans at the stroke of midnight on Christmas Eve. Ventura recounted a story about a woman who, after overhearing a dog and cat talk about her impending demise, ran out of her house and into the hands of thieves who murdered her. In Scandinavia, folkloric tales warned people to stay in after dark for fear of encountering vicious Christmas Trolls who dance and drink throughout the 12 nights of Christmas, she reported. Ventura also spoke about Ruprecht, a devil-like figure and companion of Saint Nicholas who beats bad children with sticks and chains, and, in some cases, takes them home in a sack for dinner. Ventura announced that two of her eBooks have been made available for a limited time as free PDF downloads: A Kidnapped Santa Claus and The Christmas Troll. The remainder of the show featured Open Lines. At the end of the program, George played a recording of Detroit broadcaster Lee Allan's reading of A Letter from Michael. "I look at dreams as shining lights in the darkness... giving us information about ourselves," Orloff said. Dreams can show a person what they're afraid of and how to be healed from it, she explained. They can guide one toward a certain direction in life as well, Orloff said, noting that she herself listened to dreams about becoming a psychiatrist. Even nightmares have the power to heal, as they can help the mind purge inner darkness, she revealed. Orloff encouraged listeners to develop their intuitive nature and dream lives as the year 2012 approaches. "We need to summon all of our energies beyond the linear mind. The linear mind won't be enough to handle [the challenges of the new year]," she said. People must instead look to their hearts, intuition, and dreams to get guidance and to conjure the necessary positive energy, Orloff added. She also spoke about the challenges of finding a good therapist, noting the importance of having good chemistry between patient and doctor, and seeing changes in one's life fairly quickly. Related Link: Developing Intuition Download Package ------------------------------------------------- During the last two hours of the show, hypnotherapy expert Rick Collingwood discussed using hypnosis to help better one's life and maintain a positive outlook. "Our thoughts create our feelings," Collingwood stated. If people let in all of the negative stuff, it will become who they are, he noted. According to Collingwood, there is no reason to dwell in negativity as 90% of one's thoughts and fears never come to fruition. Whenever negative thoughts do enter the mind, he recommended saying, "You have no place here, go away." While it may not be possible to change adverse circumstances, people can always change how they think about them, he added. This is where hypnosis comes into play. The subconscious is filled with patterns and programs, similar to a computer, which get enhanced by one's thoughts and feelings, Collingwood continued. As an example, Collingwood noted that if a person is having a difficult time finding employment, he or she may come to believe that a job will never be found, become negative about future employment opportunities, and simply stop looking. Hypnosis changes how that person reacts to the environment by replacing one program for another, more useful, one, he said. Several of Collingwood's self-hypnosis programs are available on iTunes. He joined George Knapp to share his contention that NASA knows there is evidence for both modern and ancient artifacts on the moon, as well as an active base there. He explained that in his position as Photo Control Dept. manager, he had access to highly detailed film and negatives taken during the Apollo missions. In viewing 16mm film shot by Apollo 14, they saw a shadow cast in the bottom of a crater, "and as we approached it, in the dark area there were like five domes lit from the inside, and a little plume that looked like steam streaking up above it," Johnston said. There are also Apollo pictures that show perfectly round holes, which he's concluded are vents rather than craters because they don't have ridges. Photos taken during the Apollo 15 mission show beams stretching across the surface that expose some of the lunar substructure, Johnston noted, adding that during seismic experiments the moon would ring like a bell, possibly indicating it was hollow. One of the more striking anomalous photos was taken by a Russian lunar orbiter which showed a fractured dome on the moon's surface, he commented. Another image (see below) taken by the Lunik 13 Russian craft, looks like a drilling device and definitely appears artificial, he continued. Johnston also talked about some of his early UFO contact experiences, where he was told he would become an ambassador between humans and ETs. He believes there is a group of ETs called the Watchers that keep tabs on humanity. Interestingly, he learned that Apollo astronauts were warned off by beings at one of the craters, and told not to return to the moon, and subsequently NASA scrapped the rest of its planned Apollo missions. Lizard, who has been playing Santa Claus professionally for over 20 years, shared some of his favorite memories, as well as observations. He's found that the true meaning of Christmas has to do with the spirit of generosity, where in some cases people make anonymous donations or gifts in the mode of a "Secret Santa." Discussing his profound visits to children's hospitals, he said "you don't ask a sick child what they want. All they want to do is get well and go home." He also talked about doing "pajama visits," where he puts presents under the tree, and the children catch him in the act, but the parents hurry the children off to bed, before Santa sees them. The rest of the evening featured Open Lines, with callers telling memorable Christmas stories, as well as holiday miracles. There were also a series of special guests phoning-in throughout the night, led off by George's mother, who remarked that the best Christmas gift is one that money can't buy. George's son Jonathan, and daughter Kristi also called in, along with Christian Wilde (a recording of his version of Oh Holy Night was played), Joshua P. Warren, Richard C. Hoagland & Dr. Robin Falkov, and Dannion Brinkley. Lionel Fanthorpe's recording of Twas the Night Befo Related Torrents
