"Ulalume" è il capolavoro di un doppio cd che tributa un doveroso omaggio a Edgar Allan Poe: intitolato "Closed On Account Of Rabies", vede la produzione di Hal Wilner, che così commenta la partecipazione di Jeff al disco: "Le ultime performance di questo disco sono di Jeff Buckley e Gavin Friday: registrate la sera del 13 febbraio 1997, un giorno prima che Jeff partisse per Memphis. Allen Ginsberg venne in studio e insegnò a Jeff come leggere Ulalume. Il risultato è magnifico, pieno di innocenza e senso di meraviglia. Nel giro di pochi mesi, Jeff ed Allen sono scomparsi, eventi che ancora non riesco ad accettare. Mi mancano terribilmente. Questo disco è dedicato a loro".
