It should be working better now.

It was a little slow for me, it should be better now but i do not know as i downloaded it this morning when it was brand new. Hopefully people are seeding now and it will be a faster download but i can confirm it is working!

Move the app from the .dmg file to your applications folder. Also, be sure that you have administrative privileges on your computer.

Delete the copy you already put in your application folder, then re drag it from the DMG. When you have fully copied it to your Application folder with the new Cities Skylines from the DMG, try to launch it and see. You need to launch the game from within the Application Folder for the first launch. See if that fixes it and then go from there.

The "new game" button is grey and i can't click it.. :(

You need to move the application from the dmg file to your applications folder. What's happening is it has to be able to write a save file and it can't do that within a dmg file.
