Cinderella is een weeskind dat door haar stiefmoeder en stiefzussen
onrechtvaardig wordt behandeld. Op een dag ontmoet ze in het bos een
charmante vreemdeling met wie ze zich gelijk verwant voelt. Wanneer

van het land, hoopt ze dat de vreemdeling ook van de partij is. Maar
haar stiefmoeder verbiedt haar te gaan en verscheurt Cinderella's jurk.
