Chaos Intellect

Intellect is a powerful combination of a software program known as a
Personal Information Manager or Contact Manager AND an Email Client to
store, read and write email messages.

As a time management tool, it can help you maintain a phone book with
every phone number or email address you need, can keep a schedule of all
your appointments and can give you a prioritized task list where things
will continue to display day after day until you complete them.

As an email client, it lets you use any email provider with POP, IMAP and
SMTP access (these are the basic Internet standards that almost every email
provider supports). It sends and receives email, while automatically
building links back to your contacts.

Intellect is the perfect tool to help you get organized, to manage your time
and be more successful. It's easy to get started with, but you'll find there
are many powerful features available when you need them.

Application

install chaos intellect as trial, run patch file 'Chaos Intellect Patch.exe',
register with any name and any user code in the menu help -> about. patch
will back up original file, apply runasadmin, decompress program file, run
xvi32 to find and replace byte pattern, and compress program file, which will
take about ten or fifteen seconds. program will automatically start after it
has been cracked. crack included in case patch fails.

registration information is in %programdata%Chaos Softwareintellect.ini
file, program data is a hidden folder, select organize -> folder and search
options in windows explorer, select the view menu tab, check hidden files,
folders, and drives.

if you can, create a folder called Chaos Data on a second hard drive. when
you first run the program, it will save program information in this folder,
at the 'create new data' prompt select browse, and select the Chaos Data
folder. if you re-install your system it will have saved all the email
information in this location without it being deleted. very useful for
saving all your email across system re-installations. email accounts
information is stored in this folder.

chaos intellect stores program settings in application data at
%appdata%Chaos Software, after setting up the program you can also save
the 'chaos software' folder on a second hard drive for an easy copy back
into the application data roaming folder after system re-installation,
program will run with the previously applied settings and appearance.
'save or restore data' batch file will do this automatically via prompt.

to set up an email account, click on tools and email accounts, select add,
it may be necessary to check with your email provider which settings to
use for incoming mail and outgoing mail, usually the ports and security
settings need to be specified so chaos intellect can access the account.
check the settings in your current email program, or you might be able to
search google or whatever for your account type and the right settings to
use.
