Charu and Latha used to live in Vizag like one body and one soul until Ravi [Skanda] entered their lives. Ravi falls for Charu and this creates the differences between the two and finally their mother (Saranya) plans to separate their attached body through an operation and during this one among them (Latha) dies. However, the mystery begins when the dead twin seeks revenge on the other. Here come a couple of twists in the story unfolding the suspense elements. Actors such as Saranya Ponvannan, Seetha and Vettaikaran Sai Sasi will be doing crucial roles.[7] Yoganand, Shabari and Kalidas have penned the dialogues. Hansraj Saxena with his new banner SAX PICTRES has acquired the distribution rights for tamil from Global One. The film is being simultaneously made in Kannada and Tamil.[6] While the Malayalam version will be dubbed from the Kannada original,the Telugu version is dubbed from the Tamil print.[6][9] The Tamil version received a "U" (Universal) certificate, while the Kannada version received "U/A" (Parental Guidance).[10] [edit]Audio and Trailer Release Function The audio and trailer release function of Charulatha, starring Priyamani as conjoined twins was recently held at Sathyam Cinemas, Chennai. Sax Pictures Hansraj Saxena, Dhananjayan Govind, Priya Mani, Saranya Ponvannan, Vijay Antony, Madhan Karky, K Bhagyaraj, KS Ravikumar and R Kannan graced the event. Director KS Ravikumar released the audio and K Bhagyaraj received it. Watchable once![11] News Track India called it a "poorly executed film with no thrills", while stating that ""Charulatha" is proof to how a pathetic film can sabotage the ability of a talented actress."[12] Movie Review Raja gives a 1.5/5 rating stating that the graphics and other aspects of the film are not upto the standards.
