CGcircuit - Point Cloud Emit 1

With SOuPs pointCloudParticleEmitter we can emit particles at selected points, use mesh normals for velocity and influence emission rate via weight transfer. In this tutorial I also show how the group node can provide a component list so that we can animate a delete faces node.

Prerequisites:

Basic working knowledge of Maya. You will need Maya 2013 an the latest SOuP build from www.soup-dev.
